Community engagement has been at the core of Ann's art practice since the early 1980s. This has taken the form of ecoliteracy and art programs, engaging her students in local communities and issues, and designing a community aspect to her ecoart installations. LUNA (Learning Urban Nature through Art). Ann initiated and directs this youth and family ecoliteracy & art program.
Remembering Hiroshima, Imaging Peace offers creative and educational programs that bring attention to nuclear war and energy. Ann serves on the board.
